ABOUT
Jonathan Foster's The Crow
On The Crow you’ll find delicately crafted fiction, creative non-fiction, essays (and audio readings) encapsulating huge ideas, philosophical observations and fearless dives into the human condition. The Crow is a place of deep reflection where I take you on a journey through the intimate and the personal toward the sublimely universal. My writing packs immense worlds into the smallest spaces, laying open a shared disillusionment with societal narratives, environmental degradation, the trauma of capitalism, and the myths of identity.Yet I have a profound love and wonder for the human experience. My writing is a reminder that beyond all the violence and bullshit surrounding our existence there is extraordinary beauty and love which, if we let it, can allow us to experience the world as dignified and flourishing people. The best thing you can do right now is subscribe and get full access to The Crow newsletter and website. Then you’ll never miss anything.Or subscribe to Arsenal Wonderland, a newsletter loved by Arsenal players.I am currently working on a new book.To read the full range of my work click on the orange icon below to get full access to Jonathan Foster's The Crow, and the red icon for the Arsenal Wonderland newsletter and website. The Biography BitI am a writer living in Sweden.I’ve spent a lifetime people watching and thinking and drinking tea, reading and discussing anything and everything.I’ve lived in Canada, New Zealand, England, Guernsey, Spain and now, Sweden where I’ve been for over 2 decades.I’ve worked in all kinds of professions and non-professions and I’ve done plenty of righteous abandoning of jobs because they were pointless, unfulfilling and morally indefensible.I’ve always had an unquenchable curiosity to see beyond the facade, to disassemble the symbolic bullshit and discover something more in this world. And everything I’ve discovered is weaved into my writing here on The Crow.
